We saw that with DeepSeek, but I have been seeing increasingly better open-source projects, to the point that the gap between open-source and proprietary software is closing.
I loaded it into LM Studio and have played with it through VS and Cursor. It’s interesting as I’m learning more about building software on the engineering side to get the think behind changes. It’s like my own coding coach.

I believe the only way for any individual not to be drawn by hype is to equip knowledge and have critical thinking skills.
