It was. However, it doesn't always turn out as you'd like it to on the first try. I usually have a few versions, then spend an hour or two on editing. I hope this helps!

I don't know if I'm in the minority, but I do find myself in some situations quickly looking through big bodies of well-formatted text, trying to decide if it was AI generated or not, and then if yes...just not really being interested in giving it my attention in the same way.

If any bodies of text trigger this radar for me, I'll have no hesitation in just pumping whatever words on there and having AI just give me your main points in a sentence or two.

I get what you are saying, same here. To me, it's this thinking: "I don't need to read through this if it's done by AI. I will just get the key concept you try to convey. If I want to know more, I will ask AI about it."

Other findings about the correlation between critical thinking and AI tool use are that people with higher education tend to think more, as do people in earlier generations.

I see both are related to knowledge and experience in life.
