Thanks for the deep look at the study which I had read. I actually am not buying this new line people have about Apple and where they are going. I think they have a profound leadership problem like Microsoft did with Steve Ballmer that wasn’t remedied until Satya. Cook is an expander / optimizer within the dictates of an existing strategy. I think he needs to leave soon or they continuing turning into other yesterday companies (GE springs to mind). I gave liquidated 90% of my Apple shareholdings.
Your finally five ideas make me wonder what i would do if i was a consultant right now. For most of the clients I had I don’t see any strategic use cases for what I think of general purpose LLMs who are rapidly just becoming a productivity aid for a few narrow tasks. Hardly will pay back the investment
People laughing at Apple for no LLM, but they're doing edge AI which is the future, a different track without massive attention yet, and they're gonna own it. Smart move.
